In a world of decades old brands RITMO MUNDO in 10 short years has reaped an astounding amount of retail, press and consumer attention. RITMO MUNDO has been featured in editorials and advertisements in prestigious publications such as IW, Chronos and Revolution magazine, highlighting RITMO’s creative and innovative designs, as well as being featured on racetrack billboards, in jet-set and lifestyle magazines and luxury resort hotels. Fashion magazines such as Vogue, Glamour and InStyle highlight the collections color filled, fashion forward side while OK, Star and InTouch spy the latest celebrity trends and sightings.
In the past 10 years, RITMO has held the official watch status of the Indy Car Series, Ocean’s 12 & 13 movie franchise and HBO’s “Entourage” and “Sex & the City”. In 2012, RITMO watches are featured in a variety of television shows including MTV’s “Caged”, CW’s “Remodeled”, and on ABC’s “Bachelor”.
Ali Soltani // Founder and President
RITMO MUNDO was started by luxury retailer, Ali Soltani, in Milan, Italy in 2002. Educated and trained as an attorney, Ali integrated his skills as a luxury retail merchant and purveyor of his family business, David Orgell, a Beverly Hills institution located on Rodeo Drive, and his passion for the finest luxury goods, to find harmony between beauty and function in contemporary watch making.
Ali has sold not only the most expensive watch in the world to Michael Jackson over 14 years ago at David Orgell, but he has also been an instrumental part of creating many new products for a variety of brands prior to the launch of RITMO MUNDO in 2002.
Modern, vivacious design and imposing a brand DNA are just some of the trademarks of RITMO. Originally set out in vibrant colors with neo-classic shapes; RITMO has designed over 40 collections in less than 10 years. Within the first 12 months of the brand’s inception, the New York Times called RITMO MUNDO “King of Monster” watches, and in 2004 Vogue Magazine described the brand’s free spirited designs as “where Rolex meets Juicy Couture”
What we call the RITMO REVOLUTION started with the 3 elements; Swiss craftsmanship, and Italian design coupled with Hollywood marketing. In 2006, RITMO began debuting designs that show the brands’ versatility and extension into fine watch making with the Persepolis Triple Time, a three time zone watch with our unique orbital rotating case. In 2010, RITMO launched The Puzzle. This unique timepiece plays on the idea of “hiding time” and has been praised by editors for its tangible approach to watch making and design.

The Ritmo Time Group currently consists of 3 core brands of which Ritmo Mundo (described above) is the initial brand, but now we have added IZOD & REFLEX.

We recognize that in order to sustain such an aggressive rate of progression and meet our goals we must harness the knowledge and intellect of our staff and apply it to the development of our product. We actively seek to foster the diversity of our work force by collaborating with community partners which include fashion bloggers, professional sports organizations, Hollywood celebrities, and merchandising experts.
Since September 2012, RITMO TIME GROUP has begun selling IZOD licensed watches. An all-American lifestyle-defining brand, IZOD goes above and beyond to bring you the full spectrum of vibrant colors to the style table. Youthful, bold, and confident, our sport-inspired classics set the trend and keep ace with your active way of life. IZOD’s go-anywhere timepiece exude eye-catching confidence and forward thinking functionality. IZOD is now available at Macy’s and Amazon in the United State ranging from $80 and upwards. Also in 2012, REFLEX was started by Ritmo Time Group. A contemporary take on the modern digital watch. Designed in bold colors, REFLEX’s minimal design approach caters to today’s face paced lifestyle.
